Plus, by purchasing one of their scripts, it will be hosted on their servers, and you will not have to search for a hosting company. That does have its drawbacks (you are not in charge of the files, therefore customization is limited), but it also has its upsides.

The second most used script software is the CashCrusader software. The CC script allows for greater customization, but does require that you host your own files. With this greater customization also comes another issue: it's not exactly for anyone who has never tried web programming before.

The third most popular option, and possibly the most expensive, is to have your site custom coded for you. This can be done in several ways. My personal recommendation is to register an account at GetAFreelancer, and then to post a project outlining your budget and what you'd like to see on your site. Using this option not only gets you the script exactly the way you want it, but you can set a budget range for how much you are willing to spend. Keep in mind that with a custom created site, it probably will still be expensive, but quality counts.
